| I am currently working as a Deputy Manager (Health, Safety & Environment) in Ashuganj Power Station Company Ltd. (APSCL), Bangladesh for more than Six years. In the past, I worked with Department of Environment (DoE), Admajee EPZ, several consultancy firms and development agencies. I have more than 14 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Resettlement Action Plan(RAP), waste water treatment system- ETP, STP, WTP or CETP, Environmental Monitoring, Solid Waste Management, IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) related audits, ADB Safeguard Policy, IFC EHS guideline for power plant, Environmental Safeguard and Management: ADB Operation in The Energy Sector, etc. I have completed BSc. in Environmental Science from Khulna University, Bangladesh, and MSc. in Disaster Management from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am actively involved with several associations working on environmental conservation and awareness in Bangladesh. |
